January: Programming

My goal for January was to focus on learning to code. I started with a python course on Udemy. which helped me refamiliarize myself with coding and start to learn a new language. I stuck with it for about a week. When I got back to school I transferred my efforts to coding in Houdini. I found that it wasn't nearly as difficult as I expected. I started a personal project creating a data visualization for airplane lines. I hope to continue this project this month. Overall I'm fairly happy with my progress although I was slowed by unexpected circumstances such as the shooting at my neighbor's house which meant I had to move houses.

At the end of the first week, I will evaluate the goal that I set and decide whether or not I wish to continue working toward that goal. For the rest of the month, I may continue to work on that goal at my own pace. At the end of every month, I will make a blog post about what I did/learned/accomplished. I decided to start my resolution a month early to test it out and see if I like it so here is my first month of goal exploration. December: My goal for December was to try out a meditation/breathing method developed by Wim Hof. I was inspired by a youtube channel called...
